Community Agriculture Corporation

Founded in 2023, and now raising seed funding for our next project.

I founded Community Agriculture Corporation in 2023 to do something about the gap between how much work agriculture takes and how little of the value stays with the people doing it. The idea is straightforward: treat agriculture as community infrastructure. That means building agricultural enterprises that can actually pay for themselves, getting food and land access to the communities that have historically been left out of both, and lining up the grants, public funding, and policy conditions that decide whether any of it survives past year three.

A lot of what I do there is unglamorous and practical, production and land strategy, business models, funding applications, and sitting with the rules that govern all of it. It comes out of the same conviction that runs through the rest of my work: farmers are not the problem in the food system, and the people closest to the land should share in what the land produces.

Where we are now

We are in the seed funding stage, working to procure the money to begin our next project. If you want the full picture of the company, what we've built so far, what we're raising for, and how to get involved, that lives on our site.

More on the thinking behind it on my about page.
