Most of my professional life has been spent taking a messy problem and turning it into something a decision-maker can actually use, a memo, an ordinance, a grant application, a plan. It has run through a state legislative office, a city planning department, the Georgia Municipal Association, a county government administering federal recovery dollars, a national food recovery nonprofit, and a university research lab.
